Capable of measuring even minute torque! 【Guide Wire Transmission Characteristic Evaluation Testing Machine】

Measure the micro-torque and angle transmission characteristics of guide wires and catheters without loss!

Protech's "Guide Wire Transmission Characteristics Evaluation Tester" allows for the measurement of minute torque characteristics at the tip of micro guide wires and catheters, which have traditionally been difficult to measure, as well as the angle transmission characteristics of input and output. With the adoption of a full posture air bearing, it is capable of measuring torque below 1mNm, with a measurement resolution of 0.01mNm. Measurement data is displayed in real-time as graphs on a PC screen, and data can also be saved in CSV file format. It is suitable for the automation and data collection of tests. Additionally, through the application of this testing machine, it is also possible to measure the sliding stress of catheters and the breaking characteristics of guide wire tips. There are also various options available, including jigs for connecting guide wires and sensors, measurement templates (vascular models) compliant with ASTM standards, and stands for securing sensors and templates.

[Contract Analysis and Testing Examples] The strength of paint and coating films is measured precisely.

The method involves commissioned analysis and testing, allowing the durability of multi-layered coatings to be measured in the MSE test as "layer strength" and "interface strength"!

The technology for painting and coating has evolved tremendously, and there is an abundance of information about materials and processes. However, I have heard that those involved in development and adoption are struggling to make choices due to the overwhelming amount of information. This method involves contract analysis and testing, and while it could be done independently, the challenge lies in selecting the testing methods that will yield the desired information. When it comes to mechanical properties (strength), one piece of information we want to know is the continuous strength and distribution from the surface of a multilayer film to the substrate (fabric). Another aspect is the dual nature of hardness and brittleness, which reflects scratch resistance and impact resistance. **What can be done with MSE testing:** - It allows for precise measurement of continuous strength distribution from the surface to the substrate. → Regardless of the number of layers, the individual strength of each layer and interfacial strength can be understood, providing a clear cross-sectional profile of how each layer connects in terms of strength. - It can highlight the characteristics of hardness (Young's modulus) and toughness (brittleness). Please try the MSE test, which offers a new perspective that changes conventional testing concepts. We promise to provide information that will greatly assist in development and selection.

[Test Case] Characteristics of Hard Thin Films and Substrates Observed in Two-Particle Tests

Detailed explanation of the test results for multi-angular alumina particles/spherical alumina particles.

We present a case study evaluating the properties of films and substrates from two tests under different conditions. The results observed from the erosion progression graph (damage progression) of spherical alumina particles indicated that "TiCN_1 is weaker than TiCN_2, and DLC_1 is stronger than DLC_2." 【Case Overview】 ■Objective - To evaluate the properties of films and substrates from two tests under different conditions. ■Test Results (Angular Alumina Particles) - The strength of the coating is stronger for DLC than for TiCN. - The strength distribution of the coating is a curve distribution for TiCN. - There is a weak layer present between the DLC and the substrate. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
